Tao of Rodney really ticked me off when R went from "eminent organ failure" to up like a jack-in-the-box spouting technobabble (lines that really could have gone to Carson/Zelenka). Just like Sateda and Phantoms, Rodney's injuries happened to the token cartoon figure on the show. I know it's "just a sci-fi show" but all the other character's injuries are treated seriously, geez!
