H50: the lost episode.
Dec. 3rd, 2013 08:31 amSo I’m watching the latest episode of Hawaii 50. Our intrepid heroes have to retrieve an object from the depths of the Pacific Ocean, about 500 metres off the frontage of the Hilton Hotel. But Steve has a sinus infection, poor petal, and can’t dive. So Danny has to dive with Catherine. It’s all very cinematic and blue with Steve on the boat ship – sulking.
Danny and Catherine are diving – Danny is complaining – underwater?— but they dive unerringly towards the depths, practically landing on top of the football-sized cube they looking for in the middle of the ruined Underwater City. At this point the sharks turn up Carcharodon carcharias by the looks of them, but a hint of Carcharocles megalodon in the mix. Steve shoots, a lot, and hisbullets rounds are amazingly penetrating through water. Completely ignoring Boyle’s Law, Danny and Catherine suddenly are out of the amazingly blue water with the Tesseract ™
Their powerboat jumps through the water (I though it was a ship – not important). They’re safe. The scene shifts. There’s a petite lady, red hair, light brown skin, flawless complexion, lovely eyes. She looks like Teyla? She is Teyla. End credits and a montage of next week’s episode. There’s Ronon. Looooookeee Sheppard and Rodney McKay \o/ They’re after the Tesseract!
I gleefully reach for the computer. And start writing a LJ post, sharing my love of this episode and the fact that I didn’t know that the gang from SGA were guest staring was all the better.
And then the alarm clock goes off.
It was an amazing episode and I was so looking forward to part two.
