I struggled to suspend disbelief after the liver transplant, and now, whilst on immuno-suppressant drugs for the rest of his likely curtailed life, Steve now has to contend with radiation poisoning with admitted problems down the line. A'OL has expressed an interest in leaving the series after season 8.

1) I’m going to have to navigate cancer fan fiction storylines (I think that there are already some posted).
2) There might be a H50 canon cancer storyline.
3) A canon cancer storyline will now be hanging over our heads even if TPTB don’t choose to go there.

*peers into the abyss*

Althouhg, I'm glad that for once, they did actually play it real on the show. There's no way there would be no consequences of handling uranium rods like that.

I hinestly wasn't expecting it. They aren't always very realistic in how they treat Steve's injuries.
