Okay, it was media res. Why is no one recognising Wu Wexian—magic? Senior sister’s son…. The tone of the series has changed, they’ve gone a little comedic, which is strange. And how does this mystery with the sword link to the Yin Iron and the Stygian Tiger Amulet? I have watched every episode and concentrated but I feel like the version I have on amazon prime is badly edited :-(

I've been wondering about that too. Maybe the characters see the boy of Mo and only we, the viewers, are seen Wei Wuxian? That's the best I could come up with.
